eBooks and Digital Audio Services
Below are the digital offerings at the Galva Public Library District. Instructions for download are available. Please contact the library during business hours for login issues and pin resets.
Through the library’s ADML catalog, you can borrow up to 5 digital audiobooks or ebooks at a time. Download the Libby app to your device to get started. Most Libby ebooks are compatible with Kindle. This is a free service provided by the Galva Public Library District and the RSA consortium.
With hoopla, library cardholders can instantly stream (or download via mobile app) digital movies, TV episodes, music, eBooks, audiobooks, comics & graphic novels. It’s available 24/7 – Items are returned automatically – free with your Library Card! Get started by downloading the hoopla app to your device or visit hoopladigital.com to get started. GPLD Patrons are limited to 8 checkouts per month in this application.
Palace Project provides library cardholders digital audiobooks and eBooks through the Illinois Library System Catalog. This is a free service provided by the Galva Public Library District and RAILS Library Services. Download the app and start reading and listening today!
The TumbleBook Library provides eBooks for Children of all ages. This site also contains reading games and puzzles to strengthen reading and comprehension skills. This service is free and provided by the Galva Public Library District.
