At Galva Public Library, transparency and community involvement are important to us. We provide access to our Agendas, Minutes, and official Documents to keep patrons informed about the decisions and discussions that shape our Library services. Meeting agendas are posted in advance to outline upcoming topics, while approved minutes offer a detailed summary of discussions and actions taken during board meetings. Please note that the Library’s fiscal year runs from July to June. Additional documents, such as policies and reports, are also available to ensure open communication and accountability. These materials can be accessed online or in person at the Library.

The Galva Public Library District (also known as GPLD) proudly serves a district of 3,334 as of the 2020 US census, as well as reciprocal borrowers from the RSA system, along with any visitors that wish to come to the library.
All FOIA requests need to be submitted to the FOIA officer, in writing, via mail, email or in person during regular Galva Public Library business hours
**If you would like access to documents from FY 22-23, and earlier fiscal years, please contact the FOIA officer Lauren Heck (Library Director) to submit a FOIA request.**
